No Bottles in the cabinet...
That's right. We no longer have bottles as of yesterday. The babies are now on whole milk and sippy cups. They did a lot better than I had expected but we are still trying to figure out how to work all this. Normally they would drink a whole bottle in one sitting but now they only take half the sippy and I find myself offering them a sippy all day long. Yesterday afternoon when they did not want it at all I bribed them with some cheerios. They did in the end drink 3 full sippies of milk but it was with a lot of effort from me. I know to Pedi said I could back their milk intake down but I am having a hard time with it since they just seem like little beans to me.

Oaklen's Undies
Oaklen has got a bad habit of leaving his undies on the bathroom floor. I have done just about all I can think of to get him to remember to pick them up. Last time I hung them by string across the hallway and told him next time it would be the front porch. He looked at me with a very serious look and said "why would you do that to me?". Well apparently he thought I was joking because I strung up three days worth of underwear to the front porch. No I did not let my neighbors see them but what I did was set an alarm to two minutes before Oaklen comes home. I strung them up knowing he was on his way and I sat on the porch with my camera to wait. Below is his reaction on camera. He did not seem to take it as hard as I hoped so hopefully my plan will work and they will start finding their way to the laundry basket.

Pictures
I found two of my kids half dressed after their nap yesterday. This is the norm for Tyler but not Addison.
Addison really likes the sound of herself whining. She does it very often and knows how to use it. I am working on ignoring it so she does not think it is ok.
Note Addison in the background climbing a toy.

Girls night out
Tonight I took Addison out to shop. We took Nonni and Aunt Jessica with us. It felt so strange to have only one but we had a blast. Addison was on her best behavior the entire trip. We ate at IHOP because I knew they had food she could eat. She got her own plate of food off the kids menu. She was hungry because she ate about half of it. She had pancakes and eggs. I wish I had my camera with me to document her first girls outing. We went to the mall and I had Addison in a carrier on me to keep people from touching her. It's amazing how much attention we did not get with only one! Addison even split a blue icee with me. She had blue lips but loved it of course. When we got home she was very crabby which made daddy crabby with me. :) He told me he was upset with me for keeping his little girl out 2 hours past her bedtime!

Thank you
I wanted to take a few seconds to thank a few people. I wish I had the time to send out personal cards in the mail, but I am staying pretty busy here.
My first thanks is to Nana Doe for all the diapers and butt wipes! Nana doe has been bringing diapers and butt wipes by the truck load almost every visit she makes. We and my babies butts thank you!
I would like to send a thanks out to Uncle Mark and Aunt Kim for sending us a gift card in the mail. Adam and I look forward to getting out of the house this weekend and sitting down to a nice meal(not cooked by me!). Infact to top off the night my mom is setting up ice cream sundays for us when we return from our date. Thanks mom!
I would like to thank Grandma Toni, Grandpa Mike and Aunt Brea for giving Adam and I some time alone. Toni, Mike and Brea come over just about once a week for Adam and I to get to the grocery store and/or make it out in the woods to hunt. We really enjoy our time alone since Adam works so many hours.
I would like to thank one of my dearest and longest friends Glinda Bodine(Oaklen's Nana) for all the mental support and great advise she gives me all the way from Texas. Glinda and I have known each other for 14 years and have never gone more than a week without a phone conversation.
I would like to thank Aunt Dawn. Who sends all the kids books every so often. Oaklen is my biggest reader. He can read for hours and hours. Brock loves to eat them! The especially liked the last ones you sent. They seem to be holding up through all the drool and they love for me to read to them.
I would like to thank Aunt Kathy who is giving us all of Logan's clothes. I think I have already posted this before but she has given us over 80 pairs of boys shoes!
I would like to thanks my beautiful sisters for just being who you are. Now I'm going to end this because I am starting to tear up.
Thanks to everyone who have given Adam, Oaklen, Tyler, Addison, Brock and finally me support and encouragement.

Wow have we been busy!
Thursday night we headed out for trick or treat 30 minutes early to take the babies before a crowd set in. Grandma and Grandpa came up to pass out and candy and watch the babies for me to take Oaklen out. I think this may be his last year as he did not seem to into it and complained his mask was hot the entire time. Next year he will probably dress up but pass out candy instead of walking. Our neighborhood gets pretty busy so we pass out a lot of candy.
Saturday we had the babies birthday party. We had a house full! They loved all their new toys and faired pretty well with all the guests. We had a small scare with Addison and Brock after their cake. They broke out in hives and we had to call the pharmacy who said we had to call their doctor. Their doctor returned the call adn felt it was caused by the die in the icing. She said they coudl clear up adn break back out for days since it could take that long for it to run through their system. We have not had any other episodes.
Adam got me sick! I've been giving him a hard time for it. I feel awful and finally made it to the doctor this morning to find I have an ear infections in both ears along with the virus. He gave me an antibiotic along with my inhaler and steroid. Addison woke up with a runny nose this morning and Adam is blaming me for giving it to her.
