Pictures

We were out on our daily walk and Tyler ran to catch up with daddy. He tripped over a crack in the pavement and dove into the concrete. You can see the concrete indentions on his forehead.

This is the babies first taste of Taco Bell. (Bean Burrito) They loved it!

I painted Addison's toes and the boys were all over me.

This is what happened when Brock stuck his fingers into the finger nail polish....he painted his nose.

The whole family other than daddy got use of the baby pool this weekend. It was HOT HOT HOT!

Dress Up

I bought Addie a new outfit offline. It came while we were gone this weekend. I was excited to see if it would fit her but Brock really liked the outfit. He stole the hat and purse right away! He also loves to wear Addison's bracelets. I'm going to have to get a costume trunk.

Is he a ham or what? Since he took Addie's hat she decided panties would work just as well for a hat. Here Addie is putting her blocks(which she signs) in her purse.

Carter Caves Camping

We had a great time at Carter Caves this weekend. We took Oaklen to celebrate his report card. We told him we were going on a picnic and he was surprised when he finally realized we were camping. I snuck around all week to make sure he did not catch me packing everything up. We did not tell him until we were sitting in front of the sign entering Carter Caves.
We started the day off getting our tents up and heading out for a hike. By the time we got back from our hike it was time to get dinner on the fire. We played scrabble and had smores.
Saturday we got up bright and early and headed out for the cave tours. We really enjoyed going to the cascade cave. It was a very pretty cave with a lot of bats! We had a picnic before heading off to the X cave which we had already been through. On both tours we were lucky enough to only be with one other couple. So we were able to ask many questions. We were so tired after the caves we headed back to the tents for a nap. We also fit in put put, more scrabble, cards, smores, and Adam and Oaklen played secret mission in the dark hiding behind trees.
At one point Saturday we took Oaklen to the play ground where he met a few friends. Adam and I got a kick out of Oaklen when we heard him introduce himself. He said "My name is Oaklen and don't you dare say it like I'm from California!" Oaklen had fun playing tag with them for a good 45 minutes to an hour.
Sunday morning we woke up to RAIN! Uggg we had to pack it all up and head home. I was bummed because I had planned another hike and Adam did not want to go even though I had brought ponchos. I have to admit though I was pretty tired by that point.
I would like to send a special thanks out to Nana Doe and Granny for watching the trio for the weekend so we had a chance to spoil our oldest son. We really enjoyed hearing the laughter and seeing the smiles on Oaklen face.

Swingset fun

Oaklen had his friend Jack over. Jack use to live next door to us.

It's hard to see but Oaklen is peaking out the window.

We had a great Easter!

The kids got a new swing set and Grandpa Mike came up to help us get it together. Took us about 6 hours.

Addison checking out the little goodies.

Oaklen would not get in the picture with the bunny. I asked the bunny if she thought she could handle all three and in a very meek voice she said "I'll try". :)

Tyler found a toy.

This is my attempt of getting a picture of Oaklen doing the egg hunt. Where is he? I have no clue!

Daddy and Tyler.

This is Adam's friend Bill and his daughter helping Addison. Addison was so good at the hunt we had to put some of her eggs back because they had a limit of ten. Our first attempt to hunt eggs with only two of us was a bit stressful so we brought in reinforcements this time.

Mommy and Brock. If he had an egg in each hand he was good. He did not want to put them in a bucket!

The field before the Toyota hunt.

I hope to get a picture of Oaklen on the new swingset soon, but the weather has been nasty and I have been super busy. We are packing up to take a surprise trip this weekend. Nana Doe and granny will be coming in to watch the trio. Will have pictures when we return.
